This project did more than just breathe new life into a single building; it sparked a remarkable revitalization across the surrounding Medical District. This work set a precedent for intentional and inclusive healthcare practices, showcasing José’s ability to leverage research and advocacy to drive systemic change.
Nationally, José’s leadership extended through his role in the Hablamos Juntos initiative, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
